orange granita


  • 1 liter of sofrucco orange juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar


In a saucepan, mix 1/4 cup of orange juice and 1/2 cup of sugar. Boil over high heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.

Transfer to a deep plate and add the juice and add the rest of the juice. Freeze and every half hour scrape the edges with a fork, breaking into crystals. Repeat this action for 2 and a half hours. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze
